DEMI LANEY | PITCHING COACH
Laney established a Binghamton record with 460 career strikeouts and a single-season mark of 171 in 2013. She finished her career with 41 wins and 10 shutouts.
Laney, who graduated from Binghamton in 2014 with a degree in environmental studies, served as a volunteer assistant coach at her alma mater in 2015, helping the Bearcats win the American East Tournament title and a berth into the NCAA Tournament.
A two-time all-conference pitcher at Binghamton, Laney was named to the America East Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll (3.5 or better GPA) as a junior and senior. She also contributed offensively, with two multi-hit games and four multi-RBI games, including a grand slam against conference rival Stony Brook as a freshman.
Demi Laney, a four-year standout at Binghamton University, joined the Lamar University softball staff in the summer of 2015 as pitching coach.
